Detail view of the Mosquito NF.II exhaust shrouds. These were important for night flying aircraft to help mask the red hot exhausts and the sparks and flame from the exhaust ports. Under this shroud are FIVE stubs a side, the last two (nearest the wing) are conjoined on the earlier Mosquitos to keep stub 6 away from the wooden wing.
