Snow has officially reached Texas. A winter system has impacted the Texas Panhandle region, near Amarillo, and brought snowfall overnight on Thursday, December 4, according to the National Weather Service.
A car was seen caked in snow in the Texas Panhandle as snow bands moved across parts of the state.Chad Casey captured footage of the wintry weather in the town of Memphis on.The National Weather Service in Lubbock warned residents to “dress for the cold weather” and be cautious of slick roadways and reduced visibility.
This weekend, expect warmer temperatures on Saturday with highs near 60 before a cold front moves through into Sunday.
