Ohio State and Indiana remain top two in the latest College Football Playoff rankings as both teams prepare for Saturday's Big Ten championship game showdown.
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State fell to No. 3 in The Associated Press Top 25 college football poll on Sunday after losing to Indiana in the Big Ten title game. They received the No. 2 seed in the College Football Playoffs, giving them a first-round bye.
Fernando Mendoza’s 17-yard touchdown pass to Elijah Sarratt gave No. 2 Indiana the lead midway through the third quarter and the Hoosiers’ stingy defense shut down No. 1 Ohio State the rest of the way in a 13-10 victory on Saturday night for their first Big Ten championship since 1967.
