Bomb blast in Moscow kills two police officers, days after apparent assassination of general
Two police officers and a third person were killed early Wednesday by a bomb in Moscow, close to the scene of a car bombing that killed a top Russian general two days ago.
A Russian general was killed by a car bomb in southern Moscow on Monday, Russian investigators said, adding that they suspected Ukrainian special services could have been behind the attack. The bomb exploded under the Kia Sorento driven by Lieutenant General Fanil Sarvarov,
Moscow said Ukraine may be responsible for the killing of the head of the General Staff’s army operational training directorate.
